Sri Lanka's ex-president faces anti-graft probe

Former Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapakse has been summoned to appear before the country's anti-graft body later this week over bribery allegations.  

Rajapakse loyalists say the 69-year-old has been ordered to present himself before the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption.  

Although the commission told reporters that it would not comment on individual cases, supporters of the former president have asked the Speaker of parliament who is Rajapakse's eldest brother to intervene and stop the probe.
