Investigation into death of four Ghanaians in Heilbron, South Africa Commences

Ghana’s Embassy in South Africa has sent an officer to Heilbron in Free State. In a message on her facebook page, Foreign Minister Hannah Tetteh noted that per the Embassy’s information, Heilbron has not recorded any incident of xenophobic attacks.

According to her, the Police have confirmed the deaths, but the cause of death could not be immediately ascertained.

Meanwhile, interim Police reports indicate that the Salon where the persons were found was locked. 

They had to break into the Salon before they found the four deceased who were all foaming from the mouth.
