CPP Elects Regional Executives In The Upper West Region


The Convention People’s Party CPP has kicked started the election of its regional executives in the Upper West Region. 

At a regional delegate conference of the party at Wa the one hundred and eight out of the one hundred and twenty-one delegates who were present unanimously confirmed the twelve-member regional executive in an election supervised by the Electoral Commission. 

Speaking at the Upper West Regional delegates’, the General Secretary of the CPP Ivor Greenstreet asked members of the party not to elect any presidential candidate who failed to win presidential elections. 

Mr Greenstreet said the CPP does not repeat presidential candidates who fail in their bid.

When he took his turn to address the delegates the 2012 Presidential candidate of the party Dr Abu Sakara asked the delegates to make sure that they do not loose elections even at their own polling station. 

Dr Sakara entreated them to vote for the people who will continue to visit them after the elections.
