Star Ghana rounds up five year project

After five (5) years of working to increase government's accountability and responsiveness to citizens, Star-Ghana is folding up.

A multi-pooled funding mechanism supported by UK Aid, US Aid, DANIDA and the European Union, Star-Ghana also worked to increase influence of Civil Society and Parliament in the governance of public goods and service delivery.

On education, Program Manager Ibrahim Tanko Amidu says his outfit allocated a greater portion of funding to education, believing that it holds the key to development.
