Kpone Thermal Power Plant to add 110 megawatts of generation by June this year

The Project Manager of Kpone Thermal Power Plant, Francis Agbenyo says barring all technical problems, the Kpone Thermal Power Plant will be  inaugurated by June this year to add 110 megawatts to the generation mix.

Speaking to Radio Ghana Mr. Agbenyo said engineers are on site and are working day and night to ensure that the energy crisis comes to an end.  

On funding, Mr. Agbenyo said VRA has secured some money to procure new parts to replace old and malfunctioning ones.
