Minister donates to two orphanages in Western Region

The Minister of Education, Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang says it is the responsibility of society to support abandoned, needy and less privileged children in every way possible to enable them to have the right education as well as good moral training so that they do not grow to become a burden on society, but rather responsible adults.

She made the point when she donated items worth thousands of Ghana cedis to two orphanages in the Western Region in connection with the Easter festivities.

They are the Fathers Home at Butumagyebu in Sekondi and Giko Children's Home at Aboadze in the Shama District.
