Attack in Kenya condemned by Ban Ki-moon

A terrorist attack on Garissa University College in Kenya on Thursday has been condemned by the UN Secretary-General.

The attack reportedly left dozens dead and injured, with an unconfirmed number of students still held hostage.

Ban Ki-moon said he hopes the situation will be quickly brought under control without further harm to those being held.

He called for those responsible for the attack to be swiftly brought to justice.
