President Mahama Commissions Mill at Ta’di GHACEM 

President, John Dramani Mahama has indicated that the much talk about local content should not be limited tojust the oil and gas sector of the economy. 

He said it is important that all partners investing in the countrybe itmanufacturing and other sectors of the economy adhere to local content and the utilization of the country’s human resource. 

President Mahama said the call has become necessary in order to create the taste and appreciation of locally produced products. He noted that this will also go to improve on the living standards in areas and communities where industrial activities are on-going. 

President Mahama said these at the commissioning of a two point three million euro mill at the Takoradi Factory of GHACEM at Takoradi in the Western Region. 

The mill is expected to boost production capacity from 3.2 metric tons to 4.2 metric tons annually.
