Gov’t spent 29 Million US Dollars on Kumasi Airport project Government has spent 29 Million US Dollars on the rehabilitation of the Kumasi Airport. About 23 Million Dollars was expended on the rehabilitation of the existing Airfield pavements works alone. The Minister of Transport Dzifa Ativor stated this when she appeared on the Floor of Parliament to answer questions which stood in the name of the MP for Manhyia South, Matthew Opoku Prempeh. The MP asked the Minister to give the House the breakdown of the total cost of rehabilitating the Airport. Madam Ativor said the Kumasi Airport is one of the busiest domestic airports in the country and its rehabilitation was paramount to government. GBC
