Producer Price Inflation Decreases In February The Producer Price Inflation rate for the month of February decreased from a revised twenty-three point six percent in January to twenty-one point eight percent. This represents a 1.8 percentage point decrease in producer inflation relative to the rate recorded in January 2015. At a media briefing in Accra the Government statistician, Dr Philomena Nyarko said the pull-down factors in the producer index for all industry in February were declining gold prices and a decrease in the cost of refined petroleum.
