Dumping at Lavender Hill: EPA threatens AMA with court action The Environmental Protection Agency, EPA, has threatened another court action against the AMA for refusing to put an end to the dumping of untreated sewage at the Korle-Gonno Beach in Accra, also known as Lavender Hill. Speaking at a news conference in Accra, the Chief Executive of the EPA, Daniel Amlalo, said if the AMA does not stop the dumping of untreated sewage at the Korle-Gonno Beach, it is feared there will be another outbreak of cholera in the capital, especially with the approach of the rainy season.
