NDC youth activists in Volta Region threaten demo

Some NDC youth activists in the Volta Region have served notice of their intention to demonstrate against some regional executives of the party. 

In a letter addressed to the Volta Regional Police Command and the Regional Minister, the group says the intended demonstration will be held on April 1. 

The group comprising past executives of the Tertiary Educational Institutions Network, TEIN of the NDC are accusing three regional executives of pursuing their own interests at the expense of the general good of the party.  

The group argues that whiles the party lacks resources the three leaders are using their positions to amass wealth to the detriment of the party structures. 

Speaking to Radio Ghana, the Volta Regional Youth Organiser of the NDC, Egypt Kudotor confirmed the notification by the group. 

He said the party does not recognise the group saying although they have the right to demonstrate, their claims are baseless.
