Social Welfare Department to be changed to Department of Social Services - Nana Oye Lithur

The Department of Social Welfare is being restructured to address the needs of society.  

In view of this, protocols, regulations and structures are being developed.  

When completed the Department of Social Welfare will be change to the Department of Social Services.  

The Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Nana Oye Lithur said this when the new UNDP Country Representative, Christine Evan-Klock paid a courtesy call on her in Accra.
