Minister, NADMO meet to find short term assistance for 700 displaced residents in Mion District The Northern Regional Minister and officials of NADMO have begun an assessment of the extent of damage caused by a rainstorm in the Mion district. More than 700 people have been displaced and are currently perching with relatives. Some schools were affected by the rainstorm. In an interview with Radio Ghana, the DCE of Mion, Dan Makandan said the district is working hard to assist the displaced residents. The Northern Regional Minister, Mohammed Muniru-Limuna briefing Radio Ghana after the meeting with the Mion District Chief Executive and officials of NADMO said the region is waiting response and assistance from the NADMO Headquarters to replace the removed roofing sheets.
