Task Force Investigating Police Recruitment Scam Presents Report Today The Special Investigation Task Force which is investigating the police recruitment scam is expected to present its report to the police administration today. The IGP Police, Mohammed Alhassan set up the committee to investigate the matter after hundreds of young people fell victim to what is now believed to be a fraud. Based on the recommendations of the DCOP Bright Oduro committee, Director General of Police Human Resource Development, COP Patrick Timbilla was interdicted while there are conflicting reports of his accounts being frozen. According to information available to Radio Ghana, COP Timbilla was named by some of the suspects as their accomplice, while it is also alleged that some monies were traced to his bank account. The report will go a long way to establish the guilt or otherwise of the highly respected commissioner. Meanwhile, Parliament's Defence and Interior committee has hinted of an independent investigation if the police report is not satisfactory to them. GBC
