EPA ready to be weaned-off government subvention The Environmental Protection Agency, EPA says it is ready to stand on its own if it is weaned off government subvention. This follows a pronouncement by the Minister of Finance, Seth Terpke on the floor of parliament last week. The Board Chairman of the Agency, Prof Vincent Kodzo Martey said the EPA will among other things redesign its structures, reshape its management team and increase public education. He believes this move will strengthen the Agency's stand to comply with the directive of no longer receiving government subvention and also avert any challenges. GBC
