Defence and Interior Committee of Parliament to await for a report from investigating committee The Defence and Interior Committee of Parliament is keenly awaiting the report from the committee investigating the police recruitment fraud which is likely to be released tomorrow to take action. The committee has held two separate meetings with the police service to have first hand information on the fraud case. The Vice Chairman of the Defence and Interior Committee, Ernest Kofi Yakah said reports that the committee has plans to set up a separate committee to investigate the case are untrue. In an interview with Gloria Anderson, Mr. Yakah said although some members of the committee proposed the creation of a separate committee, it was rejected. He said the committee trusts the expertise of the police service and will wait for the report to decide its next line of action. GBC
