Men urged to support women’s rights issues

Discussions on gender issues are no longer the preserve of women as men are gradually getting involved.

A male Gender Activist, Samuel Kyei-Berko believes this is so because of awareness gender advocacy has created over the years.

Mr Berko who has for the past twelve years championed women's rights issues, is encouraging other men to break away from the conventional patriarchal roles to support their spouses in managing the home.

Mr Berko in an interview tells Radio Ghana that he considers his commitment to the fight against gender based violence as his way of serving society.
