Ministry of Agriculture, others embarks on E-agricultural technology project

Enhancing Agricultural Productivity requires the use of technology.

It is against this background that the World Ban , in collaboration with the West Africa Productivity Project and the Ministry of Agriculture are embarking on E-Agricultural technology.

With this technology, farmers are given free smart phones to enable them to communicate with extension officers in their own language about modern methods of farming.

Speaking to Radio Ghana, the Project Consultant, Kow Sam said about six thousand farmers have benefited from free smart phones.
