Volta regional Police identify suspected criminals The Volta regional Police Command has paraded 18 suspected criminals for identification at its headquarters in Ho. The suspects are alleged to be involved in recent robberies and other criminal cases in the Ho Municipality and its environs. Four of them were identified by five of the victims. They are Eli Boafo, Richard Feda, Denu Wisdom and Kwesi David. Criminal activities in the Ho Municipality over the past three months have been on the rise compelling some chiefs in the Ho Municipality to threaten that they will replace the Police in the area with the Asogli Warriors. They claim that the Police are not doing enough to prevent or reduce crime in the Municipality. Reports say last night there were two separate armed robbery cases at RTC and Housing, with one of the victims suffering severe cutlass wounds. The Volta Regional Police Commander, Peterkin Yentumi Gyinae expressed worry over the recent robbery cases in the region. He however assured the public that the Service is up to the task to ensure that the suspects are apprehended. He appealed to robbery victims and the general public to volunteer information to assist the Service in its fight against crime. GBC
