Sustaining community development through education - VRA

The Volta River Authority has pledged its commitment to supporting the formal education of children in communities in its operational areas to equip them for the future to handle national challenges such as the current power crisis. 

The pledge was made by the Chief Executive of the Authority, Isaac Kirk Kofi when the company awarded scholarship packages to needy but brilliant students in its operational communities in the Southern sector. 

The event, held at the Akosombo International School, was under the theme, sustaining community development through education.
