Experts advocates national internship policy for tertiary students

Experts in Academia and Industry have advocated a national internship policy for tertiary students. 

According to them, job opportunities abound in the country but regrettably, most graduates lack the requisite industrial skills, making it difficult for them to be employed. 

Speaking at a career forum organised by the counseling and placement centre of the University of Ghana in Accra,  the Director of Industrial Relations  of the Ghana Employers Association, Kingsley  Amuah said, internship is a requirement for job placement and must be encouraged  to make students appreciate what entails in their  field of study.
