Ukraine mourns miners killed in Zasyadko gas blast The Ukrainian President, Petro Poroshenko has declared a day of national mourning as the death toll from a gas blast in a coal mine reached 32, with one man still missing. Mr Poroshenko decreed a minute's silence to be observed at midday for the miners killed at the Zasyadko mine in Donetsk region. The mine is in rebel territory and a demand by Mr Poroshenko to let in government rescuers was rejected.
