GUTA Calls Off Intended Strike Action

The Ghana Union Traders Association, GUTA, has called off its intended demonstration which was slated for today.  

The intended strike was to protest against the Ghana Conformity Assessment Programme, (G-CAP) and the Advance Shipment Information System, and also the worsening conditions of the business environment.  

Speaking to Radio Ghana, the President of GUTA, George Ofori, said the strike has been called off because of the suspension of the two policies.
