Kpone Holy Waters Many Africans religiously stick to their traditions and beliefs, which mainly are the various rites of passage from birth and the naming of the child, to the coming of age in some tribes, marriage and death. In some communities, some water bodies are reserved for various traditional activities. These water bodies over the years have helped to preserve not only the spiritual heritage of the locals, but also served as a source of livelihood. However, human activities are forcing these revered water bodies to become extinct.
