No illegal levy collected 

Following reports that some persons are collecting illegal levies, Radio Ghana visited the Kantamanto Market to ascertain the facts. 

Our findings indicate that though traders pay a number of levies none is illegal, and some of the traders attested to that. 

The secretary of the Kantamanto Traders Association, Maxwell Adumarfo says the traders only pay revenue to the Accra Metropolitan Assembly, the Ghana Revenue Authority and the Ghana Railway Authority which takes ground rent.
