Adequate supervision at basic school level ensures positive results of resources invested

The Secretary General of the All Africa Students Union, AASU, Fred Awaah, says adequate supervision of activities at the basic school level is the only way that resources invested at that level will yield positive results. 

He questioned why children from private basic schools do better in BECE with most of their teachers not being professionals as against the performance of pupils in public schools.

Fred Awaah was commenting on the President's State of the Nation Address, emphasising on education.
