3,000 outboard motors earmarked for fisheries sector in 2015

Fishermen across the country will this year benefit from three thousand outboard motors, as one of steps by government to reduce the huge importation of fish by at least twenty percent.  

Demand for fish out weighs supply by fifty percent.  

President John Mahama announced this in Parliament on Thursday whilst outlining key policies for the Agriculture, Industry and services sectors in the state of the Nation Address.
