An interesting report although it does not seem to state directly that human rabies infection can arise from eating rabies infected meat.  WHO fact sheet states ingestion of raw meat or other tissues from animals infected with rabies is not a source of human infection, although  human-to-human transmission by bite is theoretically possible but has never been confirmed.
