Consumption of genetically modified organisms will not pose health risks to consumers- Dr. A.B. Salifu

A former Director of the Center for Scientific and Industrial Research, Dr. A.B. Salifu says the consumption of genetically modified organisms will not pose health risks to consumers.

He has therefore charged the media to help erase the misconception about the consumption of genetically modified organisms and to project their benefits. 

Dr. Salifu said this at a forum on bio-technology and genetically modified organisms in Accra.
