Ghana to host 8th Global Pan African Congress next week

Ghana is to host the 8th Global Pan African Congress from the 4th to the 7th of next month. 

The three day programme to be attended by Several Heads of State is to galvanize Pan African efforts towards the continent's renewal including its total socio-cultural and politico-economic independence, self-reliance and liberation. 

Addressing the media last night in Accra, the chairman of the Local Organising Committee of the Congress, Kwesi Pratt said President Mahama will officially open the programme on the 5th of next month.

The President of the Pan African writers Association, Professor Atukwei Okai, described the event as an inspiration, historic and spiritual occasion.
