Pressure Group Embarks On “Yabre” Demonstration In Kumasi Tomorrow  

A group calling itself Movement for Change is set to hit the streets of Kumasi to demonstrate against the worsening energy crisis.  

As a prelude to the demonstration, the group staged what it called ‘black Tuesday’ by wearing black shirts.  

Spokesperson for the group, Nana Boakye told Radio Ghana that the demonstration is not being organised by the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

He however indicated that, the NPP has thrown its weight behind the demonstrators.

He said a petition will be sent to the Manhyia Palace.
