St Paul's Riot: Students to pay GHC90 each Students of Saint Paul`s Senior High School, SPACO, at Denu in the Volta Region are to pay ninety Ghana cedis each for damage caused to individuals and property, in a recent riot sparked by an attack on two students who were allegedly indulging in homosexual conduct. This was one of two major decisions taken at an emergency PTA meeting held yesterday ahead of the partial re-opening of the school on Monday. The students are also to sign a bond in the presence of their parents or guardians to be of good behaviour. The school has been closed down for about one month now after one student was shot dead when the police were called in to curb the students’ riot. The school authorities are however expected to seek approval from the Regional Education Directorate before charging the fees. Meanwhile, the headmaster of the school said he will ask for BNI officials to take charge of security on campus. He said although there are police officers around, there is some apprehension because of the earlier incident. GBC
