Economic resources at lower Volta Basin

The Global Family, an NGO, has called on government and relevant stakeholders to partner it to tap the economic resources at the lower Volta Basin.  

The President of Global Family, Ebenezer Dzabaku said the lower Volta Basin has huge potentials which can serve as a major Agro-Ecotourism site and source of revenue for the country.  

At a stakeholders meeting in Accra, Mr. Dzabaku noted that the injection of resources along the Volta Lake will help reduce poverty and migration into the cities because inhabitants will find alternative means to survive.
