NPP's "Won Gbo" Demonstration Rocks Accra

Thousands of Ghanaians today poured onto the principal streets of Accra to vent their frustrations at the worsening power situation. 

The demonstration dubbed "Won Gbo," meaning "we are dying” in the Ga, saw the big wigs of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) such as the Minority Leader in Parliament Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, second Deputy Speaker of Parliament Joe Ghartey,  the NPP General Secretary Kwabena Agyapong including the NPP flagbearer Nana Akufo Addo.
