NPP MPs abandon Parliament for ‘Won Gbo’ demo

The Chamber of Parliament is virtually empty on Wednesday as members of the Minority Caucus deserted the House to take part in the ‘WON GBO’ demonstration underway in Accra. 

There were only two NPP MPs in the House. 

When sitting began the Minority seats were empty. 

The NPP Member for Dorman Central, Kweku Agyemang Manu, one of the two Minority MPs in the Chamber was on his feet to offer explanation for the situation. 

The Speaker of Parliament, Edward Doe Adjaho expressed concern about the conduct of the Minority.
