Inconsistent power supply hinders production of chocolate to meet public demand The inconsistency in power supply has put pressure on the production of chocolate to meet the demands of the consuming public as today marks Valentine’s Day. Speaking to Radio Ghana’s Edith Eshun, the Managing Director of the Cocoa Processing Company, CPC, Nana Oduru Asare said production comes to a halt anytime there is load management. According to him few days to Valentine’s Day which is observed as national chocolate day in Ghana, there is more demand for the product compared to normal days. Nana Oduro Asare said in spite of the power crisis, CPC has been able to produce for the celebration of the day.
