2015 National Service Postings to be ready in May 

The Acting Executive Director of the National Service Scheme (NSS), Dr. Michael Kpessah-Whyte says this year`s National Service postings will be ready by the end of May, four clear months ahead of the date of commencement of the service.  

He told Radio Ghana, that this new arrangement will give the prospective service personnel ample time to visit their areas post and familiarize themselves with the people before they start the service.  

Speaking to Radio Ghana, Dr. Kpessah-Whyte says, any agency which requires service personnel should send in their request by the 5th of next month.  

Dr. Kpessah-Whyte also outlined some innovations he has introduced, since his appointment as head of the scheme.   

He said the scheme has managed to drastically reduce the number of ghost payments from its payroll.
