Call for attitudinal change to stop beach pollution Stakeholders in the Environmental Sector have called for attitudinal change on issues dealing with pollution at the country's beaches. The environmentalists contend that until Ghanaians refrain from practices such as sand winning, open defecation and littering along the beaches, the country stands to face an impending doom of losing the beaches. At a meeting hosted by an NGO, Save Our Beaches Ghana, the EPA, traditional leaders and fisher folk among others agreed to collaborate in finding solutions on how to maintain Ghana's beaches as tourist sites.
