The Ghanaian Times adds its voice to calls to resource the security services especially the Ghana Police and the Fire Service. According to the Paper, the two institutions depend solely on resources allocated by government, a situation it says makes planning for and contingency emergency situations difficult. It says unlike the Immigration Service and the Customs Division of the GRA, both institutions can depend on internally generated funds for their operations. The Times hopes government through the Ministry for the Interior will equip the Security Agencies enough to enable them to discharge their duties diligently. 

The Today Newspaper calls on the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Ebo Barton Oduro to withdraw and apologise to Ghanaian entrepreneurs a comment he made that if entrepreneurs cannot manage their businesses they should not blame it on the energy crisis. To the paper, the statement is unfortunate. This is because Ghanaians pay for electricity and it is incumbent upon state institutions such as ECG, VRA and GRIDCO to give them value for money. 

The Herald is unhappy with misinformation energy experts keep giving to the President which he also gives out to the public which always puts him in a bad light. The paper is also worried about the current situation where some people suffer 24 hours of light out, but others do not experience it at all. The paper therefore urges power producers to be up and doing to solve the power crisis in the country to save industries, companies and individuals from getting out of job.
