NCCE steps up campaign efforts to ensure massive turn up in district level elections

The NCCE is stepping up campaign efforts to ensure massive turn up in the district level elections.

Speaking to Radio Ghana, the Northern Regional Programmes Officer of the Commission, Alhaji Mohammed Baba, said the commission in the region is concentrating on encouraging female candidates who have filed their forms to contest as well as the disabled.

This he said is being done through community engagement, radio programming and through traditional leaders.

He said eight female candidates are contesting in the Bole-Bamboi and Sawla -Tuna and Kalba districts.
