EU lifting of Mugabe travel ban is inconsequential - Zanu-PF Zimbabwe's ruling party, Zanu-PF, says the European Union's decision to lift a travel ban on President Robert Mugabe while he serves as African Union chairperson is inconsequential. Zanu-PF spokesperson, Simon Khaya Moyo said the temporary lifting of the ban announced in Brussels is an effort to hoodwink the continent. EU spokesperson, Catherine Ray, announced that Mr Mugabe would be allowed to travel to the EU in his new capacity as AU chairman. But Madam Ray could not say if Grace Mugabe would also be allowed to travel with him. NEWS24
