Expert surprised at ruling PDP call for postponement of elections in Nigeria

International Relations Expert and Security Analyst Irbad Ibrahim says he is surprised that the ruling PDP in Nigeria is calling for the postponement of the country's general elections. 

He says it appears the PDP's call for the rescheduling of the election date may be due to the way the government has handled the Boko Haram issue.

He said the Nigerian Electoral Commission must show a lot of professionalism in the way it handles the issues.
