The Daily Graphic believes Ghanaians have been very patient with the government in these trying times and the least it can do to reciprocate the sacrifices of the people is to keep to the plan to end the load shedding. The paper says though it is skeptical of the government to achieving the target by the end of the year, in view of the enormity of the challenges is not cynical about government's agenda to restore power at all times. The Graphic states that Minister of Power, Dr Kwabena Donkor alone cannot solve the crisis and therefore other stakeholders and individuals should come on board to help end the country’s worse crisis ever. 

The Ghanaian Times reminds the Ghana Black Stars that winning the trophy at AFCON 2015 is the only way to appease Ghanaians and redeem their battered image after the ill-fated FIFA World Cup debacle in Brazil. The paper says the Stars have reached the crucial semifinal stage through hard work, therefore as they come face to face with the host nation Equatorial Guinea, the Stars must strengthen their defence and midfield, and avoid mistakes in their goal area. The paper says the Stars must win the game convincingly and at all cost to avoid what happened to Tunisia.
