Chinese Embassy donates to Chieftaincy Ministry The Chinese Embassy in Accra has presented desk and laptop computers, printers and UPS systems valued at GH¢30,000.00 to the Ministry of Chieftaincy and Traditional Affairs. Presenting the equipment, the Chinese Ambassador H.E. Sun Baohong said the embassy was ready to partner with the ministry in diverse areas. She noted that the ministry had played an important role in preserving the Ghanaian culture, enhanced the political and economic development and therefore needed support. Mrs Baohong said the Chinese government was willing to invest more in Ghana’s economy, calling for a favourable marketing environment to woo Chinese investors. “Ghana and China had a long standing relation and we have to work for the benefits of our people,” she said. Mr Yaw Effah-Baafi, the Deputy Minister of Chieftaincy and Traditional Affairs thanked the Chinese Ambassador for the gesture, assuring that the equipment would be put to good use.
