Cane workers Association ask Gov’t to encourage public organisations to purchase furniture made from cane

The Cane workers Association of Ghana is asking government to direct all public organisations to purchase furniture made from cane.

This will make Ghanaians appreciate cane works to make their trade more lucrative.

Priscilla Appiah and Dora Torgbor visited same cane artisans in the city and pick that the artisans are complaining of high tariffs which is passed on to customers, hence making the cane products expensive. 

The artisans want government to reduce the tariffs on cane production.
