TUC, Ministry of Local Government dialogue on measures to improve livelihood of informal workers

The Trades Union Congress (TUC) has cited fire outbreaks, difficulty in accessing credit as well as inadequate market infrastructure as some of the major challenges facing informal workers.

The Head of Organisations at the TUC, Adom Drayi, stated these in Accra when workers in the informal economy met with the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development to dialogue on how to improve their livelihoods.
