Speed up the passage of GYEEDA Bill – Youth A Youth Group called the Concerned Youth of Upper East Region, has appealed to Parliament to speed up the passage of the Ghana Youth Employment and Entrepreneurial Development Agency (GYEEDA) Bill. The bill when passed would help provide jobs under the various models for the teeming unemployed youth. A statement signed by its spokesperson, Abakuri Issa Mohammed, and copied to the GNA in Bolgatanga said the programme is a critical intervention in harnessing the energies of the youth towards the sustainable development of the country. It stated that even though the programme had some challenges, Parliament could go ahead and pass the bill, while the problems are addressed. According to the statement, before the programme was put on hold, it contributed significantly to the development of many sectors, particularly health and education. GNA
