Ghana resolves to end child marriage 

Statistics show that one out of four women in Ghana gets married before age 18. 

The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection and the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) are therefore collaborating to bring an end to the practice across the country.

Speaking at a stakeholders meeting in Accra the Technical Advisor of the Ministry, Dinah Adiko says behavioral change and communication strategies will be employed to achieve this objective.
