South African coach hopes to qualify for the next stage of African Cup of Nations

South African coach, Ephraim Mashaba, is holding on to the hope that his team can qualify for the knockout stages of the African Cup of Nations as they lock horns in a crunch decider with Ghana’s Black Stars this evening. 

Meanwhile, the Black stars of Ghana have specialised in late drama in their first two games, though in the opening fixture against Senegal, it was a script with an unhappy ending. 

Ghana, which has reached at least the semi-finals of the last four Afcon tournaments, delivered a late twist through skipper Asamoah Gyan, scoring a late goal against Algeria.
